this site is full of interesting proverbs, some classical, some distorted and made humorous, some very up-to-date, like the "silicon proverbs".
Judge by yourselves:
"Home is where you hang your @"
"The geek shall inherit the earth" (geek = person who loves computers, like Ludovic for instance)
"A chat has nine lives" (this one must have been invented by a French-speaking geek)

As you can see: it's rather entertaining!

yes, of course, but in a humourous sort of way. The real -or more used- proverb being the one with the book and its cover.
Did you like the new ones that have been made up from old ones? and the pairs of opposite proverbs I find quite useful in conversation as well...
